The Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor measures soil moisture levels using capacitive sensing, offering an advantage over traditional resistive sensing methods. Constructed with corrosion-resistant materials, it boasts excellent durability and a long service life. Simply insert the sensor into the soil near your plants to access real-time soil moisture data and impress your friends!

This module features a built-in voltage regulator, enabling an operating voltage range of 3.3 to 5.5V, making it ideal for both 3.3V and 5V low-voltage MCUs. To use it with a Raspberry Pi, an ADC converter is required.

Additionally, the sensor is designed to work seamlessly with the 3-pin “Gravity” interface and can be easily connected to the Gravity I/O expansion shield.
